The sphere as a shape can represent many things, such as atoms, cells and planets.  It is the simplest and most perfect of forms and an ultimate expression of unity, completeness and truth.  Everything in the physical world gravitates towards the sphere.

I use dyed wool, silk, yarn and dry felting techniques because I enjoy the tactile qualities.  The colours I have used represent how I see different emotions for example red suggests anger, blue suggests relaxation and green suggests nature.

The act of making them is important and key for me, the repetitious act of punching the material into the balls is therapeutic.
