Bethan Hubbard

Experience creates memory, memory moves thought, thought continues to contemplation, and contemplation births an idea.

My work is continuingly grounded in personal experience, and the collective experience of the female in society. The media used to illustrate the concepts discussed; varies from project to project, depending on the feel of the idea.

My media is mixed; ranging from ink to textiles and photograph, I prefer a simple, if not sometimes messy aesthetic.

My art practice has become a way to discuss the issues that plague my thoughts.
