It begins very small…..  And then it germinates and grows….

I enjoy making seeds visible.  Making the familiar strange.

To be outside is important to me…. my senses alert to smells, colours, textures.  I delight in coming across something familiar afresh and seeing it differently.  Juxtapositions of light and line, drawing the eye to notice what is there, but often overlooked.

Seeds are signifiers of hope, carrying a blue-print, a memory of things past, and of things to come.  I see them as symbolic of our human potential to play a part in the life-cycle of regeneration and degeneration.
