Transition is my main line of enquiry. Using photography as my starting point, I aim to capture the ‘now’. Drawing is incorporated to heighten that sense of movement and journey.

My work relies on my own view points, discovering unusual perspectives and compositions that relate to myself in transition; moving through space from one destination to the next.

I am interested in the coalition of abstract and the figurative, enjoying representational aspects alongside abstract mark making to create drawings. My drawings are primarily monochrome and high contrast and I use my materials to reinforce this sense of movement.
